Sometimes we need to make a tutorial for teaching our colleagues or students how to operate a program. Also, it is possible that we want to record a video-conference or video-chat for personal or professional purposes. In those cases, a screen video recorder comes handy to record what is happening on our screen. ScreenVCR is a program that can record video files of your on-screen activity and save them in a variety of formats, including .exe, .avi and .flv. Thus, you can share and publish your videos for anyone to watch them regardless of their video player type.
The program is really easy to use. You only need to open it and click on the "Record" button or hit the F8 key. To stop recording, you need to click on the "Stop" button or hit the F9 key. You can customize several of the program's features. For example, you can choose the default output folder and decide if you want to record the actual sounds or dialogs occurring while recording the video, or add any other sound file. By default, the program records your entire desktop, but it also has a viewpoint feature that allows you to record a selected area of it. Maybe, the only big disadvantage of this program is its cost, which is pretty high. Other than that, it is a good program.
